Driving from Alaska to California, halfway between our departure and destination points, on a lovely day of the October "Golden Autumn", we discovered this beautiful part of British Columbia. The scenery looked just like some familiar pictures from the past - a bittersweet reminder of our homeland. We pledged to each other to come back here to paint - and we did, already twice by now, both in the fall and in the spring. These trips have resulted in over forty paintings! Old love can be quite prolific...
